The Nashua Silver Knights make the most of 5 hits in 1-0 victory over the Pittsfield Suns

Both the Nashua Silver Knights (20-18) and the Pittsfield Suns (17-19) put runners aboard on Thursday, but it was the Nashua Silver Knights that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 1-0 win at Holman Stadium.
The fact that the Nashua Silver Knights grouped all of their hits in the first inning helped them take advantage and score the one run they needed for the win.
Clay Conaway improved to 3-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Nashua Silver Knights. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered eight hits.
Robert Anderson couldn't get it done on the mound for the Pittsfield Suns, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed one run.
